Do I need a paid Claude plan?
You need a Claude plan that supports custom connectors. Wirely works with any Claude account that can add a connector by URL.
Can Claude break my site?
Every theme write is snapshotted first and can be reverted in one step, content changes are recorded, and the database is read-only. On the Free plan Claude can only read — nothing changes.
What can Claude not do?
It can’t run raw SQL, read wp-config.php, upload plugins from arbitrary URLs, or manage WordPress users. Those are deliberately off-limits.
Does it work with page builders and custom themes?
Yes. Wirely works at the WordPress level — posts, theme files, and plugins — so it fits any theme, including child themes.
How do I stop it?
Disconnect a site from your dashboard, deactivate the plugin, or revoke Claude’s access — each takes effect immediately.
